At Soviet-surplus, we want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. Please read our policy below to understand your rights regarding returns, exchanges, and refunds.

1. Return Eligibility

We accept returns for unused, non-custom items within 30 days of the delivery date. To be eligible for a return, the item must be:

  • In its original condition (unused, unwashed, undamaged)

  • In the original packaging (if applicable)

  • Accompanied by proof of purchase (order number or receipt)

2. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Custom-made or personalized items

  • Items marked as final sale

  • Gift cards or digital products

Custom orders are only eligible for a return if the item arrives damaged or incorrect due to our error.

3. How to Request a Return

To start a return, please contact us at [your email address] with your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason. We will respond with return instructions and the return address.

Please do not send items back without first contacting us, as unauthorized returns may not be accepted.

4. Return Shipping

  • Buyers are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the item was received damaged or incorrect.

  • We recommend using a trackable shipping service to ensure your return is delivered safely.

  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

5. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, a refund will be issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Please note:

  • We cannot process refunds to a different payment method than the one used for the original purchase.

  • If your refund is late or missing, please first check with your bank or payment provider before contacting us.

6. Exchanges

We currently do not offer direct exchanges. If you would like to exchange an item, please return the original item for a refund and place a new order.

7. Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. Include photos of the item and packaging so we can resolve the issue promptly. We will either replace the item or issue a full refund, including shipping costs.
